HEADLINES
•  After securing agreement late last week on the framework of a major infrastructure bill, President Joe Biden and Senate negotiators are working to secure support for the agreement.
•  The House is wrapping up business ahead of its July 4 recess, with the Senate already departed.

HOUSE
<ul>
 	<li>The House will be in session today through Thursday. Lawmakers will <a href="https://www.majorityleader.gov/content/weekly-leader-friday-june-25-2021">vote</a> on creating a commission to investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol and on a <a href="https://docs.house.gov/billsthisweek/20210628/BILLS-117HR3684RH-RCP117-8.pdf">reauthorization</a> of transportation programs that may serve as a marker for Senate infrastructure negotiations.</li>
 	<li>Tuesday, BakerHostetler’s 32nd Annual Legislative Seminar Series will host a <a href="https://www.bakerlaw.com/events/32nd-annual-legislative-seminar-series-congresswoman-stephanie-murphy-d-fla">double-session</a> with Reps. Stephanie Murphy, D-Fla., and Bill Huizenga, R-Mich.</li>

SENATE

 	<li>The Senate departed for its July 4 recess, but work continues to sell the bipartisan infrastructure agreement and translate its details into legislation.</li>
 	<li>Wednesday, BakerHostetler’s 32nd Annual Legislative Seminar Series <a href="https://www.bakerlaw.com/events/32nd-annual-legislative-seminar-series-senator-cory-booker-d-nj">concludes</a> with Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J.</li>

WHITE HOUSE
<ul>
 	<li>President Biden will <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/biden-israeli-president-rivlin-discuss-iran-israel-defense-needs-2021-06-27/">host</a> Israel’s new President Reuven Rivlin at the White House this afternoon.</li>
 	<li>Tuesday, Biden will <a href="https://wxow.com/2021/06/27/president-joe-biden-coming-to-la-crosse-on-tuesday/">travel</a> to La Crosse, Wisconsin, to tout the bipartisan infrastructure deal.</li>
 	<li>The president will mark Independence Day by <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/biden-hold-july-celebration-hoped-mark-independence-covid/story?id=78288030">welcoming</a> first responders, essential workers, and military members to a gathering on the White House South Lawn on Sunday.</li>
