The House will be in <a href="https://www.majorityleader.gov/schedule/weekly-schedule.htm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">session</a> tonight through Thursday, likely dealing with a <a href="https://thehill.com/homenews/house/4645328-greene-johnson-feud-set-to-come-to-a-head/">motion to vacate the chair.</a>

Noteworthy administration officials testifying on the president’s fiscal year 2025 budget request include <a href="https://appropriations.house.gov/events/hearings/budget-hearing-fiscal-year-2025-request-department-commerce">Commerce</a> Secretary Gina Raimondo and <a href="https://appropriations.house.gov/events/hearings/budget-hearing-fiscal-year-2025-request-federal-communications-commission" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Federal Communications Commission</a> Chair Jessica Rosenworcel, both Wednesday.

The Foreign Affairs Committee will hold a <a href="https://foreignaffairs.house.gov/hearing/reviewing-dfcs-efforts-to-out-compete-chinas-bri/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hearing</a> tomorrow on the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation’s efforts to outcompete China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

The Senate will be in <a href="https://www.senate.gov/legislative/floor_activity_pail.htm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">session</a> Tuesday through Thursday, trying to complete consideration of legislation reauthorizing the <a href="https://thehill.com/policy/transportation/4636676-faa-senate-vote/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Federal Aviation Administration</a>.

Senate budget hearings include Secretary of <a href="https://www.appropriations.senate.gov/hearings/a-review-of-the-presidents-fiscal-year-2025-budget-request-for-the-department-of-labor" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Labor</a> Julie Su, <a href="https://www.appropriations.senate.gov/hearings/a-review-of-the-presidents-fiscal-year-2025-budget-request-for-the-food-and-drug-administration" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Food and Drug Administration</a> Commissioner Robert Califf, and <a href="https://www.epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/hearings?ID=90B66882-ECA7-4C3C-81C0-69CF8B249394" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Environmental Protection Agency</a> Administrator Michael Regan.

The Commerce Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety and Data Security will hold a <a href="https://www.commerce.senate.gov/2024/5/strengthening-data-security-to-protect-consumers">hearing</a> Wednesday on consumer data security.

Tomorrow, he will deliver the keynote address at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s <a href="https://www.ushmm.org/information/press/president-joseph-biden-to-deliver-keynote-address-at-museums-annual-days-of" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Days of Remembrance</a> ceremony at the Capitol.  

Later in the week, Biden will travel to <a href="https://www.jsonline.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/05/03/joe-biden-to-make-4th-trip-to-wisconsin-with-racine-visit-next-week/73547763007/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Racine</a>, Wisconsin, and <a href="https://www.politico.com/newsletters/illinois-playbook/2024/05/03/pritzker-drives-the-deal-00155941" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chicago</a> for campaign activities.
