The House floor schedule is uncertain as Republicans <a href="https://punchbowl.news/archive/101623-punchbowl-news-am/">struggle</a> for a path forward, but committees are resuming work this week.

The Energy and Commerce Committee will hold a <a href="https://energycommerce.house.gov/events/environment-manufacturing-and-critical-materials-subcommittee-hearing-1">hearing</a> Wednesday on Environmental Protection Agency efforts to limit the use of ethylene oxide to sterilize medical devices.

The Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a <a href="https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/committee-activity/hearings/name-image-and-likeness-and-the-future-of-college-sports">hearing</a> tomorrow on “Name, Image, and Likeness, and the Future of College Sports.”

The Foreign Relations Committee is prioritizing Jack Lew’s nomination to be ambassador to Israel, and will hold his nomination <a href="https://www.foreign.senate.gov/hearings/nominations-10-18-2023">hearing</a> Wednesday.

Today, Biden is <a href="https://www.chieftain.com/story/news/2023/10/13/president-biden-expected-to-visit-pueblo-monday-during-colorado-stop/71169322007/">visiting</a> Pueblo, Colorado, to promote his energy agenda.

The president and first lady on Wednesday will <a href="https://www.wdel.com/pres-bidens-schedule/article_8575e75e-517d-11ee-9794-6b11ee6d5729.html">host</a> a reception celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

Friday, Biden will <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2023/09/28/statement-from-press-secretary-karine-jean-pierre-on-u-s-eu-summit/">hold</a> his second U.S.-EU Summit, with Michel and von der Leyen.
